We are located on the unceded traditional territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation, across from the Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park.

The centre was built and fitted to tell the story of Native and early pioneers of the area, with an emphasis on logging and fishing.

We are currently showcasing the Barbara Higgins exhibit. Barbara, also known as Carmen was a rememberer and wanted her beautiful art pieces to tell her story once she passed.

There are special collections of Vivian and Easthope marine engines, antique bottles, and depression glass.

Our state-of-the-art gift shop features incredible art, clothing, books, stickers and snacks, all from LOCAL artists and artisans of the Sunshine Coast and British Columbia.

We also provide restrooms, wifi, outdoor displays, spacious parking, a picnic area, and an electric vehicle charging station.
