The Egmont Heritage Centre is located on unceded traditional territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation, across from the Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park. It was built and fitted to tell the story of Native and early pioneers of the area, with an emphasis on logging and fishing.
There are special collections of Vivian and Easthope marine engines, antique bottles, Depression glass and more plus a gift shop featuring books, art, crafts, and snacks.
We also provide restrooms, wifi, internet access, outdoor displays, spacious parking and picnic area, and electric vehicle charging.
